INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
1: This test is for 1 Hour
2: The test booklet contains 38 questions. The maximum marks are 100, there is NO negative marking for wrong answer.
3: Pattern of the questions is as under:
i) The paper consists of five parts: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Mental Ability. Each of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology has 3 sections and Mental Ability has 2 sections
ii) Section I: This section contains 4 multiple choice questions for Physics, Chemistry, Biology & 6 multiple choice questions for Math, which have only one correct answer. Each question carries +2 marks
iii) Section II: This section contains 2 multiple choice questions based on Assertion & Reason Type, which have only one correct answer. Each question carries +2 marks
iv) Section III: This section contains 1 Matrix Match Type question. Each question has two matching Columns. Column-I has four entries (i, ii, iii, iv) and Column-II has four entries (A, B, C, D). Each entry in Column-I may match with one or more entries in Column-II. Each entry of column I carries +2 marks for the correct match. Hence a Matrix Match question carries 8 marks in total.
v) Section I of Mental Ability contains 4 multiple choice questions based on pattern finding and quantitative aptitude. Each question has only one correct answer and carries +2 marks
vi) Section II of Mental Ability contains 4 multiple choice questions each of which is based on a graph/pie chart. This section tests data interpretation abilities. Each question has only one correct answer and carries +2 marks
